Breanne-Office Manager: breanne@bestfriendspetvet.com As long as I can remember, animals have been a huge part of my life. Since childhood, I have owned cats, dogs, horses, turtles, rats and birds. I cannot imagine a world without pets. It was this love for animals that led me into the veterinary industry. I have worked in veterinary hospitals for the past 8 years. I began as a part time kennel attendant while I was attending Cal Poly Pomona studying equine science. It wasn't long before it became a passion and not just a job. This led me to study veterinary technology at Mt. SAC and desire more time working in the clinic. While looking for a clinic that would allow me to have more time on the job, I found Best Friends Pet Hospital. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and the clients. It was a place where I came to know the pets and their owners. I worked at Best Friends for about 4 years. However, I did find myself looking for a change and wanting to work for a larger clinic. To my dismay, the grass wasn't greener on the other side. I found that a larger clinic didn't allow me to personally know pets and their owners and spend the quality time with them that I had become accustomed to at Best Friends. It was then that I heard that Dr. Hardy was going to be returning to Best Friends. I was excited at the possibility of returning to the clinic where my heart was and working with a wonderful doctor. Thankfully, Dr. Hardy gladly welcomed me back to Best Friends. I am so glad to be working at a clinic where we genuinely care about the pets, and their people too. I love the fact that when someone walks in the door, we know exactly who they are and usually have a good idea of what they need. I think that our clients feel a sense of security knowing that we really do know who they are. I hope that Best Friends Pet Hospital can continue to bring this type of quality care for years to come.
